Live
Here
Live here at Earthrise ranch from May-October (flexible) for $500/month (discounted rent) in exchange for being a caretaker and host.
If you help us book guests, you can earn $$$, too.
We are the steward of over 100 acres in southern Oregon, on top of a mountain overlooking old growth forests, eagle nesting grounds, and Mount Shasta.
We are seeking an individual or couple (or friends) to take care of the property and manage rental of the offgrid home and campsites.
There is a partially finished tiny house that you are able to stay in, with a high-end memory foam king mattress. You can stay in the main house when there is no one staying there.
- A four wheel drive vehicle is required. (We can accommodate for the right person.
- The property is completely offgrid
- Solar and batteries provide electricity
- A propane Coleman stove is used for cooking
- Laundry is available in town
- You have use of an outhouse and outdoor shower
- There is a wood burning stove for heat in the main house.
- If you have a van, camper, or off-grid rig, you’re welcome to bring it.
- There is a steel pagoda and a labrinth on the property
- Opal has been found on the property
- Cell service/ phone internet is good, though there are some spots in the house where it’s spotty since the home is sunk in the ground 3 feet.
We’ve had a few rentals on Airbnb and VRBO so far, and also include the home in a self-guided retreat. A four wheel drive vehicle is required for guests, as our “driveway” is 1.5 miles long, gravel, and STEEP.
